Registered Acknowledgement Slips with New Corporate logo of India Post

Registered Acknowledgement Slips also known as AD slips / forms now got new look with the replacement of old logo of India Post with new Corporate Logo on top right corner. Old slips were printed with the logo which was introduced to commemorate 150 years of India Post in 2004.  Also the paper on which the slips are being printed is changed too. The new slips are printed on slightly thin and soft glossy white paper than the old thicker yellowish paper. The bilingual printed tag line ‘INDIA POST – A RELIABLE PARTNER – REACHOUT – THROUGH OUT’ which appeared on top of the old slips is missing on these new slips, rest of the fields and instructions are same as on old slips. Old slips were available in the packet of 50 slips for Rs.3 per pack with the packing slip on top of the bunch (an image of the packing slip is shown below). New slips are also available in the pack of 50 slips and the price is unchanged, Rs.3 per pack. No packing slips are noted on the top of the bunch.

India Post adopted a new Corporate logo on 23rd September 2008 as a part of larger makeover process. The logo was unveiled at New Delhi by Minister of Communication and Information Technology Shri A. Raja and Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, it was simultaneously unveiled by chief postmasters generals in the state capitals. In coming months this new logo will appear on letter-boxes and other post office insignia. The new logo has a more fluid feel to it, the effect of the wings on the logo is unchanged. The logo has an impression of an Envelope and a Bird. The colour of the logo is Red and Yellow.
