India 2003 special cover issued to mark 61 Years of Quit India Movement, issued during the 8^th Inter School Stamp Exhibition – ‘Schoolpex’ at Jaipur, organized by Philatelic Society of Rajasthan. Cover depicting Mahatma Gandhi with Jawahar Lala Nehru, cancellation depicts bust of Gandhiji.

Indian National Congress passed ‘Quit India’ resolution on August 8^th 1942 in its Bombay session. In reaction, British Government arrested all Indian National Congress leaders including Mahatma Gandhi on the day of 9^th August 1942. After this incident ‘Quit India’ Resolution turned into a countrywide movement.
